After moving it here to Crawford, we’ve been hard at work with a full remodel. It is still a rustic retreat, but it features running hot and cold water, electricity, and a composting toilet. You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this unique getaway, 30 minutes from the north rim of the Black Canyon.

Planet Camper near Hot Springs - Earth

Earth is a planet-themed camper suite built for two to three guests who want a comfortable, low-key stay. You get a queen bed, a convertible dinette for a third sleeper, a private shower, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Step out under the 12-foot awning to your own seating and settle in as the day winds down. Hot springs are close by, along with the Royal Gorge and the Arkansas River. Campers here are named for planets, and the night sky puts on a show.

Cozy Camper with a Touch Of Nature

The camper is a 24' 2007 Itasca Navion. This cozy camper is located about 10 miles north of of downtown Durango. It's great for a family of four, but might be small for anything more. It's close to Trimble Hot Springs, which is a great place to relax after a day of fun. Also, walking distance from a cute little breakfast nook, Hermosa Grill. Right next to Hermosa Grill there is a gas station, and a liquor store. The camper is not available to move.
