Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

Ellis -Lakeside Cabin on Beach Pond with Sauna

Year round quintessential lakeside vacation! Ellis is a fully heated/winterized camp cottage just steps from beautiful Beach Pond. It has two bedrooms and sleeps 5. The detached bunkhouse has 3 single beds and is available for larger groups (summer only) Very peaceful lakeside location just 238 feet from Beach Pond. Walking distance to trails. Visit our 6 horses. Not a secluded space so make sure to look at the photos to see the layout of other nearby buildings. Please read all the details!

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two two-person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1.

Sticks and Stones Farm - The Solar Cabin

Sticks and Stones Farm offers a rustic glamping experience! When you stay with us you'll get the adventure and fun of camping (no electricity, outdoor showers etc.) while still getting to lay your head on a soft pillow in a bed. You can treat your stay here as a chance to go inward or enjoy interacting with the different programs and events going on! Front & side decks, are perfect for relaxing. Access great cafes, shops & cultural delights in Norfolk. The nearby Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate hosts Yale's Summer Chamber Music Concert series.
