This is a unique "cabin in the woods" tree house style home nestled high up on a property making up part of the Table Mountain Reserve, overlooking the world heritage site "Orange Kloof" effectively the back of the Table Mountain reserve Despite its apparent remoteness, it lies just 7 min from Houtbay central district and 12 minutes from Constantia shopping centre. Home has immediate access to walking trails and Vlakenberg hiking trail. All bedrooms have stunning views onto mountain ranges.

No 7- Blue Gum Cottage

Blue Gum is the biggest and best cottage on the estate and has an elegant, relaxed feel. The large open-plan living area has a modern kitchen with brand new oven/ stove, microwave, washing machine and a dishwasher, dining table and bright airy lounge. We recently installed a 6KVa invertor to beat any load-shedding. 3 large bedrooms, two x Queen beds, and the 3rd has twin singles, all with amazing views. they share two modern full bathrooms. The large private patio faces the central lawn.

This tastefully decorated cottage is set in a safe, beautiful and quiet residential area of Hout Bay. The well-equipped cottage with 24/7 electricity and air conditioning is located next to a private family home. It sleeps 2 adults and 2 children can be accommodated in the open-plan loft. The cottage has access to several hikes onto Table Mountain National park, is 8 minutes away from the beach, some beautiful restaurants, shops, Kirstenbosch and the Constantia Wine valley.

Add a log to the wood stove and curl up on a comfy couch to stay warm and snug on chilly nights. In the morning explore stunning hiking trails, golf courses, wineries, restaurants and all that vibrant Constantia has to offer. We offer guests considerable relief from the effects of scheduled power blackouts (load shedding). Our solar PV panels charge backup batteries which provide emergency power for lighting, WiFi, TV and electronics during blackouts.

Kai Cottage is a contemporary, stylish, light & relaxing space located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Constantia Hills. It is a self-catering 1 bed studio apartment with a shower bathroom, a well-fitted kitchen, a comfy lounge and a private balcony/garden courtyard. It is best suited for professionals and couples. It is an open plan area, therefore recommended for a maximum of 2 adults.
