Ty Crwn, historic beach house for Gwrych Castle

Gwrych Castle's historic beach house, Ty Crwn, has been restored to its former glory. Situated 50 metres from the shoreline, the cottage overlooks the Irish Sea and Pensarn Beach SSSI. The beach house was built by the Lloyds of Gwrych and was last used by the Countess of Dundonald for sea bathing. The cottage is dog friendly and the grounds are all secure for dogs. Rhiw Goch Cottage is a spacious detached one bedroom stone-built cottage with wood burner dating from the 18th century or earlier. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with secluded glades and viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland full of wildlife about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track.
