The North Shore Fisherman's Cabin- historic

The 'North Shore Fisherman's Cabin' is a restored historic fisherman's home built of logs around 1900. You are right in the heart of town and near the harbor. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a huge dining room, gas fireplace, front porch and yard. Dog fees apply, if bringing a dog please pay the appropriate fees in advance. $75 per dog. Sauna is available on a first come first served basis for a fee and is private- message owner to verify availability prior to completing your reservation.

This cozy cabin provides a perfect getaway and is a gem in all seasons, especially during the fall colors or a blowing winter storm. Timber frame cabin built on a hilltop, on 20 acres of old growth maples. Walls of glass, a screened in porch and a wrap around deck bring the outdoors inside. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
