Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our modern cabin is set in our ten acre small holding close to the south Cumbria beaches and southern Lake District. Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard that has our bee hives and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.

A 5 minutes walk down the track (a little challenging coming back up) You are in a quiet peaceful area, within walking distance of the Co-Op, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers, 2 cafes, and 2 Pubs. An ideal woodland base for lovers of the great outdoors Just 4 miles south of Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and on the Bay Cycleway. Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. Local walks and easy access by car to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Silverdale and Arnside AONB.

Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.

Our luxury glamping pods are home from home with all cooking facilities, Fully fitted en suite, Double bed and sofa bed. We supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. We supply a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast could be supplied in you require. Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too.
