Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. This tiny house (120 sq. ft) is newly built just for you, our Airbnb guests. Though small, it packs all the essentials for a comfortable stay including bathroom, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, heater and air conditioning. When the queen murphy bed is not in use, it converts into a couch leaving space for the table and chairs. It is conveniently located 71 miles from Yosemite Visitor's Center and a great stopping point between the Bay area and Yosemite National Park.

Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the gold country surrounded by wilderness. The house is magical inside and out, with unique curved walls and ceilings, facing a seasonal pond and home to much wildlife. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond. Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.

The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.
