Our Lake Retreat is set to provide you with the most beautiful and serene setting possible, the home is located on a private lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Georgia Mountains and only 15 min. from the quaint alpine village of Helen, famous for their Octoberfest . You can experience this updated and cozy home any time of the year, from the fresh air of spring to the vibrant colors of fall. Please check our lake rules !!!

Sunshine Cottage (close to downtown Clayton, GA)

Visit North Georgia & the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains. Sunshine Cottage is like visiting your grandma's house. Plenty of books, games and a little of the past in this over 100-year-old home! Just a 14-minute walk, or 3-minute drive to downtown Clayton. Spend an evening on the screened in porch, play cards in the game room while listening to some music or enjoy breakfast with family in the kitchen. SO much to do in the area such as hiking, kayaking or shopping, or visit a winery.

It's also a central location that you'll love being so close to Tallulah Gorge, Lake Burton, Helen, Cleveland, Wineries, Waterfall hikes, and AT. It's located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and has a large level private backyard, which is great for grilling, dining outside, relaxing or chilling by the fire pit.

World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
