Beautiful hikes, kayaking, mountain biking and whale watching opportunities abound, and on rainy days, an eclectic selection of dvds. a A wonderful place to unplug for a few days. Yakka Way Hideaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy all the new amenities to create an at home feeling. While relaxing on the deck, you can view the sparkles off the water at sunset, through the trees. Some evenings, you can hear the whales, from the deck. You will have the entire private space to yourself. Within walking distance to the ferry landing, where one can pre-park, to get assured loading. Also walking distance to Whaletown Bay, which is a great place to swim, or kayak out of.

Lakeview Casita

This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Moonhill Guesthouse

Moonhill Guesthouse is the perfect starting point to explore Cortes Island. Centrally located on the south end close to Manson’s Lagoon, Smelt Bay and Hollyhock, Moonhill offers spacious and peaceful accommodation for Cortes Island visitors. At both forest and village edge, Moonhill is walking distance to many island amenities and popular swimming beaches. Centrally located by the co-op and Cortes market and a ten min walk to lake. Surround by tress and greener. Everything you need is right here. The property has cedar sauna for 6 to enjoy. Beautiful outside covered patio with bbq and very comfortable seating. Outside fire ring with chairs for you to roast marshmallows. Sleeps five with one queen room, a loft with a king and a pull out couch is great for kids.This cabin is a twin to the second cabin on the property with lots of privacy.

'Saltwater Cottage' Cortes Island

'Saltwater' is a sparkling new cedar and glass cottage by the sea. Nestled into a beautiful farm and orchard on the south side of Cortes Island, 'Saltwater' lends a deeply restorative experience of the pastoral life along with all the pleasures of the the ocean! The cottage has breathtaking views of Desolation Sound and the Coast Range mountains as well as the mountains of Vancouver Island. The orchard and forest creates a beautiful backdrop and a wonderful place to explore.

Cozy Lakefront Cabin Retreat

Escape to the Cozy Lakefront Cabin Retreat at Hague Lake, ideally situated on the south end of Cortes Island. The cabin offers a queen-sized bed with fresh linens, a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, mini-fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, and coffees and teas, plus a newly renovated bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Just minutes from Mansons Landing’s co-op, café, and market, and near trails, beaches, and lagoons, it’s the perfect base for comfort and adventure.

Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
