This unique cottage sleeps six people & is ideally placed in South-West Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way. It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Cosy, rural Thatched cottage

The Rockhouse - a refurbished, traditional cottage set in generous landscaped grounds, including a small wood and stream. A peaceful location to relax and unwind in, with no TV but good WIFI. An ideal base from which to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, the new Blueway to Arranmore and the scenery of The Rosses and Donegal. Several beaches are a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is only a 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Hannah's Thatched Cottage

Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards. Hannahs is a perfect base for those who are looking for an adventure, surrounded by some of Irelands best hill walking trails, cleanest beaches and most breath-taking scenery. A 5-minute drive to numerous award-winning restaurants and cosy pubs and just a 10-minute walk to the village of Clonmany.

The Meadow Tiny Home

Enjoy a peaceful break set in a tranquil location overlooking the Derryveagh Mountains and Sheephaven Bay. With Ards Forest Park, Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Doe Castle, award winning restaurants and countless beautiful beaches within a 20 minute drive, this charming tiny home is a great base to explore from. Ballycannon Cottage (2 full beds + sofa bed)

National Geographic named it "The Coolest Place on the Planet in 2017” and we happen to agree! Ballycannon Cottage is nestled in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) area of Donegal, between the Derryveigh Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballycannon cottage is a great choice for exploring Donegal’s many wonders.

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

An old stone cottage with modern facilities, this is the perfect location to enjoy a break in the Donegal countryside. The Bluestack Way runs along the renowned Ownea Salmon River, which is only a stone's throw from the house. Explore the nearby trails and forestry, enjoy a good book under the Wisteria pergola or simply soak in the hot tub - whatever takes your fancy!

Dogs welcome for an additional fee. WIFI included. Our hillpod rental "Cropod" is at the same location if you need more space - though both properties have privacy and separate entrances.
