Perfect location for enjoying local amenities or exploring the rest of Ireland - 2 hours to most tourist spots.

The Bird's Nest is a stone built former cow barn built in the 1700s with a modern second floor. Ideal for walking routes, great local restaurants/pubs and a whole lot of relaxing. You will be staying on an animal sanctuary with a wide range of different animals. You are free to walk around the sanctuary and can find out all about their stories and how they came to be with us. You can book for breakfast or our home made pizza nights and barbeques. (Please advise us in advance if you would like food provided). As well as access to our firepit ( firewood provided at an additional small fee). We also now have a hot tub at an additional cost of €30

Marina View is a beautiful oasis located on the Shannon in the vibrant village of Killaloe/Ballina. You can relax and read, watch a film, prepare meals, or just enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. The village is a leisurely ten-minute walk away. There are many cafes, a French patisserie, numerous pubs with trad music and several restaurants along with two hotels. Killaloe also serves as a base for exploring Nenagh, Limerick and Galway.

Set on the banks of a meandering river, my thatched cottage is in the quaint village of holycross, situated near to the famous Rock of Cashel, the village has three local pubs/ restaurants within one kilometre. My cosy cottage comfortably sleeps four, with a large outside terrace perfect for summer evenings overlooking the local church spire, relax also inside cosy living space with a real wood burning stove.
