Enjoy sharing this Ausable river front home by staying in a private lower-level walkout. WE LIVE ABOVE. This gorgeous log home is on the famous Holy waters. The bottom story is a finished lower level with a separate entrance and living area from the homeowners above. The suite has a walk out onto the patio with a gentle slope to 200 ft of rocky bottom river frontage. This is located five miles from the city of Grayling. You will be close to hiking trails, hiking, snowmobile trails, and skiing.

Welcome! Our place is set up for family/friends relaxation time. Our 2 story log home is located in a rural neighborhood on a shallow stretch of the of the AuSable River just south of Frederic. Minutes from I-75 with park and ride access to snowmobile/ORV trails. Biking, kayaking, skiing, golfing, fishing or trail riding opportunities nearby. A 20 min drive to Gaylord and a 13 min drive to Grayling. The small scenic backyard has direct river access. Deck large enough to accommodate all guests.

Ski at Hansen Hills or bundle up and go ice fishing. We are about 10 minutes from the Manistee and Au Sable for fly fishing, canoeing, and tubing.

There are 4 cabins located approximately 20 feet from the river. A great place for small families, hunters, snowmobilers, side by sides and of course fly fishing. Originally built in 1951 to accommodate the workers of the logging industry, Lovells Riverside Cabins continue to thrive. Across the river is the Lovells Riverside Tavern

The Cottage at The Busted Grouse is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy an Up North retreat reminiscient of the family cottage they may have grown up with. The 7 acre property is completely surrounded on both sides of the river by 250 acres of Trout Unlimited land that is yours to explore- no neighbors in sight! Pet-friendly.Both the Lodge and the Cabin are solely yours to enjoy with your family and friends during your stay. We have Direct TV in the main cabin, Thunderbird Lodge only. Currently, there isn't a TV or Cable in Squall Cabin.
