Walking amongst the majestic redwoods, along one of our nations cleanest and most biodiverse rivers, is truly a sight to behold and an experience to be had. Keep a look out for elk, eagles, bears and Bigfoot.

Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Bring the whole family to The Ruby Rose to unwind and escape the heat and spend time at the beach, or hiking the giant redwood forrest's. This cozy home is located about 5 minutes from down town Crescent City, in a very quiet and quaint 1960's neighborhood. This home features a large family room perfect for relaxing after a long day of surfing the Pacific Ocean. Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Cozy yet rustic cabin in the Redwoods overlooking the Smith River, purest in CA. Half mile of shoreline, excellent fishing and wildlife viewing. Round hot tub and a wood stove for the winter. Peaceful location yet min. from Hiouchi café, store and Giant Redwoods of Jedediah Smith State Park. 15 min. to Crescent City and miles of ocean beaches. Outdoor grill and fire pit. Wonderful for couples, families and groups, you won't find a better location on the river to relax and enjoy nature.

Within walking distance from Walmart Supercenter (0.2 Miles / 4 Minutes) and Sutter Coast Hospital (0.7 Miles / 14 Minutes) makes it very convenient. Please note: there is construction going on in the neighborhood Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm. Ping Pong table and bikes available upon request.
