Natural-built, hand sculpted, off-grid cabin

We are a family homestead who built a one room straw bale house finished with clay plaster from our land. We invite you to come enjoy nature in our little oasis. The space is heated with the help of both a rocket stove and abundant natural sunlight. You'll also have access to an outdoor kitchen, a campfire site and a composting toilet. While it is fairly private, the cabin is located amidst other homes in our little ecovillage. It is not tucked away in the woods. We look forward to hosting you!

Includes a fully equipped kitchen, queen bed, full bath, seating area, TV, wifi and balcony. Custom heart pine furniture, EV charger, refrig, stove, microwave, toaster and Keurig. Close to superb wineries, breweries and historic sites. Four blocks from the railroad so you will occasionally hear "that lonesome whistle blow".

This newly renovated one bedroom apartment is in the heart of the historic district of Gordonsville. No box stores here, just quaint shops and restaurants. The apartment is right on Main Street nestled in the middle of boutique shops and brick sidewalks with Monticello, Montpelier, the University of Virginia, Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards and many historic sites near by. This is a private second story apartment above a local business with a separate entrance and key-less entry.

The Home Stretch

Welcome to "The Home Stretch", a beautiful quiet place in the country just a few miles from Short Pump (which has great restaurants, Golf Courses, Drive Shack, wineries, Breweries. Our second floor apartment features a private entrance with all the things you may need while you are away from home. It has a spacious living area, eat in kitchen, queen bed and 2 trundle-like twin beds. We are on the premises but not in your space at all. Available day and night should you need anything.

Convenient Rustic Cabin near Wineries

I’m located 6 miles from Scottsville, 15 miles from Charlottesville, 25-30 minute drive. A pasture of cattle is not too far away you can hear the mooing at times and see sightings of deer quite often. It’s a private and quiet location. Two large rivers, James and Rivanna offer recreational activities. Rustic cabin, country located. Clean and cozy with a well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs. Pets welcome! Cozy, comfortable, and spacious efficiency apartment with a view of pristine woods and adorable chickens and ducks. Go for a walk in the woods to Beech Creek or explore the quaint town of Ashland just 10 minutes away. A great space to unplug, rest, and get away from it all! Please note that we are not able to accommodate long-term rentals.

Have fun at Lucid Dreams Little house on the farm. You can go dream walking and feel so free and peaceful. Open land and woods. A place you just don’t want to leave. Rocky the Mimi horse will greet you in the yard. Redneck beach in the back where picnics are always fun. Check out our beautiful sun rises and sunsets. Bring your horse or a friend.
