Wizard's LOTR Cottage and Treehouse! Pet Friendly!

Our LOTR-themed Wizard's Cottage, along with our LOTR Stargazer treehouse, are on 2+ acres, & have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." Our home is about 200 ft. from the Cottage & far from Stargazer (back of the acreage). Greenery provides privacy. Enjoy our hot tub & Mordor -(dare to open the "Mor Do[o]r")! We are solidly in farm country; 2 miles from lovely Cedar Lake; Soo Line Trail has hiking, biking & snowmobiling; park & bar in walking distance. Diversity is welcome.

Private Cottage w/Queen Bed + Lakes, golfing, etc.

Beautiful, cozy cottage located on owner's property. Surrounded by lakes (however not on one), world-class golf, towering pine trees and amazing restaurants and shopping. You will have the cottage to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed, also a full bath. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep two more. We are walking distance to Pequot Lakes, and just a 10 minute drive to Breezy Point or Nisswa for an amazing shopping experience. We welcome friendly, fully vetted dogs.

“Tiny Timber” Scandi cabin W/ Sauna, plunge tub!

Unwind, have a campfire, enjoy the sauna, play games or simply relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Welcome to the Treetop Cabin — a cozy, elevated getaway on 4 private acres of pines in the heart of Crosslake! Built in 2017, this two-story cabin features a great room with a fireplace, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, and comfy log furnishings. Relax on the porch, play yard games, or watch for deer and wildlife! Close to lakes, trails, shops, and restaurants. Note: 20+ stairs up to the cabin; loft stairs are steeper than standard. Enjoy the paddle boat, kayaks and dock, and for more fun, rent the pontoon and jet-ski. We also have a 30 amp rv hookup option for $45/day.
