This beautifully renovated villa overlooking Children's Bay and the Akaroa township was the original farmhouse for the land surrounding her. While retaining the character of the villa, the house has been lovingly restored to create thoughtful sunny spaces in a home away from home. 5 minute stroll down the hill and you are in the village of Akaroa where you will find an abundance of fine local restaurants, unique shops and activities. Only a 5 minute drive to New Brighton pier, the He Puna Taimoana hot pools, shops, library, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa at QE2, or a choice of Golf courses. An easy 15 minutes to the city centre by car or 25 minutes to the airport.

This fully self-contained modern unit is a great place to spend a few nights away. Wake up in the morning, sit out on the deck & watch the sporting activity on the water. Whether you want to sit back and relax or feel more energetic by walking, it is all here for you. Just a 7-minute drive is Akaroa where there are plenty of eateries to choose from.

Beach House - South Brighton 2 bedroom unit

This is part of my home across from the beach in South New Brighton. I am listing it for up to 60 nights per year to cover my rates and running costs. It is not suitable for children under 6. The unit has everything you should need for a short stay including the use of my laundry. I have kept my pricing low and simple. No cleaning fee and no charge for the second bedroom. I don't expect guests to clean, do laundry or put out rubbish ( but appreciate it if you do!) Max. stay 10 days.

Our holiday apartment is a fantastic getaway for a couple or a family. Light and spacious, just the recipe for a relaxing holiday by the sea. The Little Port Cooper School House at 'The Wonderful's' Keirangi, Camp Bay, is our remote farm hut. A very historic building, built in 1883. Basic tramping & camping hut. Enjoy the remoteness of this incredible hidden spot, the fishing, hiking, diving, relaxation, the safe sandy beach, native bush, sea kayaking and so much more! Start with a 1.5hr tramp over to Little Port Cooper from the Keirangi Homestead, then enjoy a humble historic stay in the Ole School House.
