If you're looking for a unique way to experience nature that still offers the comforts of home, come see what Yurt Life is all about! Tucked away in a manzanita grove and perched on a cliff with the river below, the space offers privacy, views, and close access to the river. This little yurt packs a big punch: kitchenette, comfy lounge chairs, queen bed, table, wifi and ceiling fan. And rather than being a dreaded experience, the attached bathroom with epic views is one of the best features!

Modern Cabin in the Redwood Rainforest

Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish, renovated Vintage Mobile home in beautiful Hunter Valley. We are 1.5 miles off the 101 & 2.3 miles from Trees of Mystery & DeMartins Beach. We are located inside the Redwood State & National Parks. This property is remodeled with custom Redwood details throughout. Fully fenced and next to our Little Community Park with Redwoods all around you.. We offer fresh eggs, bagels and homemade jam to enjoy during your stay. We look forward to hosting you!

Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Wildflower Hideaway - On Golf Course

This cozy little get away is perfectly comfortable for your next visit to the redwoods or to check out the ocean. The Wildflower Hideaway is a retreat that’s tucked away form the stressors of your day to day. You’ll relax, unwind, and enjoy this space that’s all your own. The Del Norte Golf Course is located on the same street. Peacock river bar is a short walk, bike, or car ride away. Enjoy the warm and sunny Hiouchi area for your vacation!
