The Loft at the Historic Benjamin Ten Broeck House

We welcome you to step back in time and enjoy a restful weekend of rural leisure in the welcoming Hudson Valley countryside. The LOFT is a large comfortable very private room with en suite and private entry. The house has been welcoming guest since 1751, and we are happy to share that history of hospitality with you. Our location is right at the cross roads of the Mid Hudson Valley, it literally takes only minutes to drive to; Rhinebeck, the Kingston waterfront or Kingston Stockade District, and 15 minutes to Woodstock or Bard College. Additionally there is another beautifully appointed room available on property for people or families traveling together who need two rooms. Although we are considered a B&B, don't expect breakfast. What you will find in your room - is a bowl of seasonal fruit and some local baked goods along side a Keurig coffeemaker and a compact refrigerator stocked with half and half and yogurt to start your morning off with. Garden space and terrace. We try and stay out of our guests way, often even arranging to leave a key out. We want our guest to be able to arrive whenever they want, with no pressure or time schedule to keep. That being said we are always just a call away and can provide expert advice on what to see, where to be seen, and great places to dine. There is no shortage of things to do in the area, so it is helpful to have a savvy local host help winnow out the options, don't be afraid to ask! The Benjamin Ten Broeck House is located on Flatbush Road, just north of Kingston. With easy access to Rhinebeck and Kingston, the house is also close to Saugerties and Woodstock. Amtrak and Uber now available! 10 minutes from Rhinecliff train station. Exceptional clean, well fitted out with comfortable furniture, British country life motifs abound, quality linens, and perfect privacy abounds. Loose yourself in time, in a space designed for easy comfort and relaxation!

Giraffe Room - The Old Catskill Game Farm Inn

Stay at The Giraffe Room inside what used to be the Giraffe Barn at The Old Catskill Game Farm. Located inside an abandoned zoo of what was once America's largest and first privately owned zoo. You can explore the grounds, go in the animal shelters and be secluded in 200+ acres with 3.5 miles of paved walkways while witnessing nature take back an American landmark. The inn features a full kitchen, outdoor hot tub and fire-pit. Decorated with remnants of The Catskill Game Farm. This is our most luxurious suite, the only King room, located on the main level of the Inn. It includes a walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom and a 3 person Jacuzzi tub in the main room. Sleep 3 in the king size bed or a please request a cot for the 3rd person. The Terry House, a Federal Townhouse circa 1860, is located in historic New Castle, Delaware. This room is on the 2nd floor, featuring a historical nautical theme in one room and historical classic cars in the other room. This suite features, a queen and a full beds as well as private baths and a mini fridge in each room. There is a common area space called the parlor room on the first floor to work, hangout, or play games. ** Not serving breakfast at the moment.

You can bike or walk to restaurants, the Lehigh River, Lehigh Gorge State Park, and local attractions. The downtown area is 1 mile from the property, but please note it will be up hill to return!
