The apartment living space is cozy and comfortable, with gorgeous exposed brick wall, cool lighting, and cozy reading nooks. You will find plenty of storage space in the bedroom closets. We provide linens and pillows and blankets. The fully equipped Gourmet kitchen provides you with everything you need to cook at home. The en-suite washer and dryer will save you a trip to the laundromat, so pack light! The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We live immediately in the upper level of this historic Mount pleasant row house, so we are just a phone call, text message, or doorbell ring away should you have any questions or need help with anything. This private apartment has two separate entrances (front and back). We respect our guests privacy but also enjoy interacting with them to provide any needed assistance, suggestions, or tips during their stay. The apartment is located in the charming and central Mount Pleasant district, a leafy neighborhood with a small-town feel, historic architecture, and vibrant culinary offerings. The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. We can provide you with a parking pass if you need one. * Pack-n-play and booster seat are available upon request. * Parking permit is available on request (there is a $200 fee if it is not returned).

My daughter/co-host, Bernadette, a young D.C. professional, can also answer any questions about the D.C. area, restaurants and other cool places to go. The apartment is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to the Washington area. It's a short walk to the FDA. Downtown Silver Spring is nearby, with its many restaurants, bars, Fillmore music venue, Ellsworth Dog Park, and a movie theater. The National Archives, University of Maryland College Park and UMUC are just few miles away. A Ride-On bus stop is located on the same block as the apartment. A Metro bus stop is 5 minute walk. Silver Spring Metro Station is about 4 miles away. There are a few parking garages at the Silver Spring Metro Station if you choose to drive there and then hop on the metro. Free parking on weekends and holidays at all Montgomery County Parking garages (some lots and street parking may require payment on Saturday). You could also Uber/Lyft to the metro station or all the way into the city (great option esp if you're splitting fare).

This lovely, spacious waterfront home is located on the York River in Gloucester County Virginia. It is the perfect get away to enjoy the relaxing sounds and sights of nature. The views are spectacular! Keep an eye out for osprey and dolphins as you enjoy watching the sunrise and set over the water. There is plenty to do! Relax in the salt water pool overlooking the water, bring a pole & fish and crab right off of the private dock, or venture out on the kayaks. 16 ton boat lift, Jet ski lifts.

A cute studio apartment in the basement of a newly renovated home. Guests have a private entrance with their own private bathroom. You also have use of a full-size washer and dryer. Other amenities include an honor bar stocked with beer and wine, an arcade style game with over 200 popular titles including Ms. Pac Man, and coffee/tea. Please note that we live upstairs, but the space is private. It is separated by a stairwell and a locking door. It is comparable to a hotel room, but nicer.
