Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub , or send the kids down to play on the trampoline. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

Tiny Seaside Retreat

Walk up the driveway into a storybook treehouse setting at our tiny cozy rustic cabin by the sea. Relax on one of the decks, enjoy the view, the resident wildlife, and the peaceful ambiance of the property. Launch your kayak right from the property. Our place is close to parks, restaurants and dining whether you paddle or drive. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and is pet friendly. There is a ladder to the loft and not good for people with mobility issues.

Family and dog friendly with fully fenced yard, next to the Denman Island ferry for a quick day trip to Tribune Bay, 20 min from the base of mount Washington, or 2 hour drive to Tofino. Close access to trails,slopes,beaches,shops and restaurants. Equipped with kayaks ,paddle board, outdoor space, hot tub, wood fire cedar sauna,bbqs, propane and wood fire pits etc Note: host and family live on upper level

Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
