The Glass Room and Wooden Caravan

The Glass Room and Wooden Caravan are perfect for people who love wilderness, and nature. It's for adventurous souls, who thrive on wide open spaces, warmth and a simpler way of life. There are views that will take your breath away, rocks to scramble over and lovely long walks and horse riding to be enjoyed. As with other tracts of wild Africa, we do have some dangerous animals around, including elephant, the odd lion, leopard and venomous snake, although it is not often that we see the latter.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Off-grid, eco-friendly, 2 bedroom home, lovingly crafted from recycled shipping containers! Enjoy nearly 360 degree views from the deck, surrounded by Mt. Kenya, the Aberdare Mountains, and the Lolldaiga Range. Perfect launching pad for excursions into Ol Pejeta Conservancy (15 min), Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (45 min), and Mt. Kenya National Park (30 min). The house can sleep up to 5 and has a king size bed in each bedroom and 2 sleeper sofas.

The cottage is situated on a farm in Laikipia, 32km from Nanyuki. It is near Borana and Ngare Ndare with stunning panoramic views of Mt. Kenya. It has large terraces providing comfy outdoor lounge areas. The farm is rich in bird species. Perfect getaway to relax in a beautiful landscape with a wild feel. It is a sustainable home designed to minimize your footprint on the environment with solar panels and rain water collection. Our cottage won the 2023 Airbnb Africa Award for Sustainability.

This is a renowned rhino sanctuary that is uniquely home to the last Northern White Rhinos on the planet, and is also the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. A modern, elegant base for a bush holiday. Walk, cycle and jog around the estate which is free of predators and teeming with plains game and birdlife. Enjoy the beautiful and picturesque views of Mount Kenya from the villa.

The Wagons, Loltunda Farm, Chumvi Borana Laikipia

The Wagons of Loltunda are made up of three ox cart wagons beautifully finished with an African Gypsy feel. Two bedroom wagons called love and Freedom sit at right angles with views out to the loldaiga hills and Borana. There’s an open plan raised wooden deck connecting the wagons with warm fireplace, dining and lounge area. To the right is a kitchen made of an old horse box. All wagons set are under a roof for protection. Outside is a open air bathroom. The spare room is a tree house.

We're at walking distance from a resort where you'll find a restaurant, tennis courts, swimming pool, horse riding, etc.

Kivuko. Private Laikipia Home on Wildlife Corridor

Kivuko is a private home in Laikipia, set on 40 acres, best suited for families and small gatherings. Days unfold slowly — mornings with tea and open sky, afternoons between the house and rocks, and evenings around the fire. Located about one hour north of Nanyuki, bordering Ol Jogi Conservancy. Wildlife is often seen from the verandah. Sleeps up to 10–12 guests comfortably, with space to gather and rest.
