Charming condo a short drive from Bromley with an abundance of attractions nearby. After a day on the slopes, refuel with delicious food from Dorset Bakery or Inn before you cozy up by the fireplace. During the summer, enjoy the back patio with outdoor seating and grill. Shop at the Manchester Outlet Center, restock at the Dorset Farmers Market or HN Williams General Store. Explore nature on the Owls Head trail. Enjoy events like the Vermont Summer Equestrian Event & the Dorset Theatre Festival.

There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

The Smithy Cottage at Consider Bardwell Farm

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.

You'll have the whole 3rd floor to yourself with a new private bath, large bedroom with a/c, and a separate sitting room/library. We're a four a minute drive from the center of historic Dorset village.
