Our guesthouse is ready to host the most discerning traveler. You will appreciate the clean private guesthouse that is located on a quiet neighborhood street in a newer central subdivision that is close to all that SW Missouri has to offer. Please note that we offer a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils in the kitchen area, there is no stove/ oven. Parties and events are not allowed. Any extra guests need to have prior approval from the host before they arrive on site.

The fireplace can crackle & burn with or without heat, so you can feel cozy even when it's hot out. The kitchen is perfection & well stocked with all you need.

Historic Schifferdecker Cottage

Built in 1846 and secluded on 5 gorgeous acres bordering Turkey Creek on the west and a paved walking trail on the south, this charming cottage was the home of Charles Schifferdecker, where he brewed his beer to sell in the "mining camp" called Joplin. Ironic to its seclusion, it is literally one block from the corner convenience store and mere minutes from such local destinations as MSSU, OCC & Joplin High School, as well as many restaurants and retail stores on Rangeline and Main Street.

Azalea A Beautiful Place to Be

Azelia is a dedicated vacation rental. The master king suite has its own bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a king and bedroom 3 has a queen. Both share the hall bathroom. There is parking for two in the driveway and another two in the garage. The open floor concept makes the living room, dining room, & kitchen area a large space for everyone together in. There’s a good size back patio and large private fenced in backyard.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place on the east side of Joplin. Using business Route 66 one can drive 15 minutes to either Carthage Missouri or be in the heart of Joplin at 7th and Rangeline! This location is minutes from the ETF sports complex. You will be within 6 minutes from I44 or 249 exits. This is truly a great spot logistically for a stop over while traveling.

Located right off Route 249 & 7th Street, while only minutes away from I-49, enjoy the convenient location with quick & easy access to anywhere needed in Joplin as well as the rest of Southwest Missouri. We pride ourselves in doing our best to make this as family-friendly a home as possible.

Close to town without the crowds. minutes from the crossroads of i49 & i44 we are easy to get to. close to the restaurant district & shopping. setting in the corner of 10 acres at the end of the road. our horses will greet you, expecting a treat… still working on stalls and landscaping, please excuse the mess.

This renovated space is on the second floor* of an historic downtown building just steps off the original Route 66. *Climbing steps is required. The staircase is wide, solid, with sturdy handrail, and has a landing halfway up. We're happy to help carry luggage, if that's an issue.
