Welcome to our mountain getaway cottage! Barberry Cottage is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Welcome to Villa Maria! This very large, modern bedroom with bathroom and large adjoining patio is a mere 30 minutes from Kings Canyon NP. The patio includes a beautiful outdoor BBQ area with sink, fridge, lighting, and powered roof louvres. Enjoy perfect privacy: the rest of the house will not be in use while you are there. After a great day at the park you can turn on the BBQ, grab your cold beer from the fridge and relax under the tree on the patio as the sun sets on Bear Mountain. Paradise!

The Big Stump Entrance Station at the north end of the Sequoia & Kings Canyon Nat’l Parks and Giant Sequoia Nat’l Monument is a 30 minute drive. Guests can also explore the Giant Forest & the General Sherman Tree by using the General’s Hwy. The Baker House is conveniently located just a short 10 minute drive off of Hwy 180. Yosemite is a doable day trip from the Ranch.
