The cabin is situated on our multigenerational, operational farm. Experience rural life in depth. This unique stay provides endless opportunities for exploring and experiencing Mother Nature’s bounty at its best! Falling Springs falls, the Jackson River, The Homestead and The Greenbrier Resort are all nearby! Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Southwest Spirit Cabin retreat

Escape and relax in our spirit of the southwest themed cabin in the mountains. Enjoy your own cabin equipped with a kitchenette, queen bed, sofa, tv, dining table, private bath with tub and a patio to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ponies and nature. Close to the Blue ridge parkway, the AT trail and Peaks of Otter. Please note this is a SMOKE & ALCOHOL FREE property as a wellness retreat. Not a party place. NO PETS or CHILDREN. Then fill your day with outdoor activities throughout the Allegheny Highlands. At night, grill out and enjoy dinner around the table. Then light a bonfire and stargaze before ending the night.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
