Hilltop A-frame retreat

RIGI HAUS is a hilltop retreat, overlooking Highland Pond and a 32 acre nature preserve. A large deck with sunchairs and 2 separate sitting areas overlooks the pond (during cold months) and is surrounded by greenery during warm months, for complete privacy. The open concept living room has high ceilings, a table for 6, and is centered around a circular fireplace. The room connects to a chef’s kitchen, with 8ft island, designer appliances, and Dekton countertops.

Relax in our peaceful and private attached apartment, where you can look out the window to see birds and deer nearly every day. There are hiking trails with amazing views just down the street and this is also a beautiful area for jogging or bike riding. Enjoy a wonderful guest house with all the amenities on a historic property in Guilford, Connecticut. The main house built in 1779 extends its character to the guest house which has views of an open field. On property there is a working restored horse barn. We are minutes to the spectacular downtown area of Guilford and easy access to Durham, Madison, and other surrounding towns and highways!
