We are located in Purmerend, a great base for anyone who wants to explore the best tourist attractions of the Netherlands. We’re within 30 minutes reach from the capital city Amsterdam, the typical Dutch village Zaanse Schans, fisherman’s village Volendam, cheese villages Edam & Alkmaar and picturesque Marken. All with the convenience of free parking. Be careful, Purmerend is a town near Amsterdam and not Amsterdam itself. Also, know you're booking a room in a shared house not the house itself.

Een parel verstopt in de rust en het groen, op steenworp afstand (25 minuten met de directe bus) van Amsterdam. Een sfeervol huis voor gezinnen die de omgeving willen verkennen, met een kindproof terugval basis. En/of voor gasten die op zoek zijn naar rust en vertraging deze zomer. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

A wonderful place with many beautiful cycling routes and a river is near the house. There are several beautiful places in the area that are easy to reach, such as Amsterdam, Volendam, Monnikendam and De Beemster. At the house you can park easily. A 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop. From here you can easily travel to, for example, Amsterdam.
