We purchased this charming 1880’s Victorian Bluestone property in 2017 which was in desperate need of a restoration. Forward to 2024 and she is fully restored. We have a unique, self-contained Guest Wing, which runs off the main house and this is the space that we would love to offer as a private B&B. The location is perfect, the train station is a 150 metre walk to the end of our street, which makes it super easy to go into Adelaide CBD and enjoy any number of SA Festivals and Sporting Events.

It is a lovely quiet area where you can explore the many walking tracks or stroll down to the nearby lake, a great location for a day trip to explore the Barossa Valley Wine region. The City is a short 25min bus ride once there you can jump on and off the free tram service exploring the many attractions in our beautiful city of Adelaide or catch a tram down to beautiful Glenelg Beach

Built in 1881 in historical Church Hill, with modern amenities, the Courthouse is centrally located in Gawler, yet quiet, offering a unique, self-contained accommodation option, close to the Barossa Valley, Gawler main street and shops. The Studio is at the front of this majestic building and is completely private. My Airbnb was built in 2019. This is an architect designed eco home with lots of light and air. The bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. The kitchen dining lounge area is upstairs and accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a big city skyline view. There is a full set of kitchen appliances. 51SQ Eco Home (51 square metres) is close to all city attractions including the Central Market, Adelaide Oval and tram. 51SQ is also a great place for work or leisure.

Ovenden Lodge Guesthouse

OVENDEN LODGE offers dog-friendly accommodation, in a self-contained "granny flat" surrounded by open paddocks at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. With its ponies, birds and chickens, it is a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.
