One street from Lake Michigan’s beautiful shore, where there is a playground, basketball, and tennis courts. The home itself was one of the first in Elk Rapids! It’s open floor plan provides lots of space to enjoy both inside and out. Escape the village and visit Traverse City or the wineries, each only 30 minutes away. Don’t forget to pick up a fresh cherry pie along the way!

We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .
