Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

Whether you are in Eminence for a float trip down the river, to hike in one of the many state parks close by, to catch some trout in the river or just to relax and enjoy the Ozarks, Rivertown Retreat is here for you!

Sit around the fire pit by the pond and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature! Piney River Brewery is just minutes away with River access in almost every direction!

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. A cabin highlight is the wrapped upper decking for an memorable outdoor movie night or relax with your locally roasted coffee. At night, sit around the fire pit & listen to the sounds of the Ozarks. This is a cozy riverfront cabin which is 1 of 2 separate cabins located on 25 acres near the "Barn Hollow Natural Area" just 8 miles outside Mountain View Missouri. While looking out over the Jacks Fork river from the cabin you can hear the soothing sound of the river flowing. The river access for swimming, crackling wood burning stove, and hot tub are just some of the many things about this cabin that you are sure to love!

Deadwood Acres Hideaway

This log cabin sets on 15 acres for you to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness while you vacation and relax. Ron is usually around to help cell 314-581-3243. The deck is a great place to just sit and relax and let the world pass by. A spring fed Creek Runs along the edge of the property and is great for just sitting and relaxing. There is a BBQ pit and fire pit on site. Pets are welcome.
