Bay Breeze Cottage on Lake Michigan

This charming cottage is located on Lake Michigan with a private, sandy beach. The water is crystal clear. No water shoes needed here! The cottage was designed with comfort in mind and has everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable. The prices shown here are for 2 guests. There is $20/night/person for over 2 guests. It has a 2nd bedroom (which the owners created for their grandchildren) but was really designed for 2. We have a very fragile ecosystem and try to limit guests.

Riverfront cottage 1-mile nature walk to downtown

A unique old-school cottage located right on the Bear River and Petoskey's newly developed Bear River park and trail. A one-mile meandering walk, over the river and through the woods will take you to downtown Petoskey and Lake Michigan. Along the riverwalk in the opposite direction is a skate park and running track. Also close to shopping plazas and a robust downtown shopping district. The house is dog friendly with a fenced in yard and has three porches to look out over the the river valley.

Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

The year was 1929, and the Hollywood director, Norman Panama, commissioned Earl Young to build his summer get-away. Stars of the day, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope partied on the expansive estate-like grounds, with stunning views of Lake Michigan. The "Be Our Guest" cottage can be described as cozy; peaceful; relaxing; pet-friendly. Near beaches and downtown. Fully stocked kitchen and linens.
