The view from our front porch showcases the beautiful Kaiparowits Plateau and the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument . Enjoy a peaceful walk or ride in the nearby "Alvey Wash", or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views in every direction.

InnSpiration Escalante 3-5 Beds

Inspired by the landscape, this beautiful vacation rental is a very clean & well-kept home base for having your best Escalante experience! With attention to detail, and perfectly located in center of town (across from Escalante Outfitters*), it's ideal for being "outward bound from the heart of town".. or a peaceful place for a scenic getaway. Also includes two fold-out couches, and a "Jacuzzi" jetted tub. Note: almost everything is closed on Sundays, except Escalante Outfitters open until 9pm.

40 Acre Escalante Canyon Retreat

This river front home tucked in between large cottonwood shade trees with views on all sides of the Escalante Canyon, meadows, cliffs, and river. Hike from the front door to first class scenic wonders. There are natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive. Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.

Dark Sky House - Capitol Reef Gateway

Welcome to Dark Sky House. Sitting at the crossroads of Scenic Byway 12 and Highway 24 Dark Sky House will afford you access to some of the greatest scenery in the world. A place of contemplative quiet, introspection and lasting stillness. It is a retreat into tranquility. Get creative. Catch up on reading. Bask in this placid place and its environs for renewal and restoration. Hike and explore during the day. Retreat at night to prepare a meal and immerse yourself in stargazing.

North Creek Retreat

Private lower level of our home. Located on a private 160 acre ranch with two beautiful rivers. Petroglyphs and waterfall are within walking distance of our home. Restaurant (the north creek grill) @ the slot canyons inn is within walking distance of the property. Currently closed until 2026. The retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms , a small kitchenette (not a full kitchen) only a MINI fridge, and living room. Outdoor patio space with grill and outdoor seating and fire pit

Little Desert Escapes

Relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing in our newly renovated house. Located on the quiet street of Griffin Lane. Our central air will keep you cool and comfortable while you cook dinner in our fully furnished kitchen or you may use the BBQ on the back patio. After dinner you can hang out around the fire pit in the backyard roasting marshmallows, play one of many board games available, or just chill and watch TV in the living room or one of our comfortable bedrooms.

Southwest Retreat

The house has wonderful views, is peaceful and comfortable. It is located on the edge of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and is centrally located with easy access to hiking, biking, and exploring. Southwestern Retreat is just a few blocks off Highway 12, an All American Highway, and is located between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park. The house has a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Economy "Tuff Shed" Cabin

We lovingly refer to our Economy cabins as "Tuff Shed" cabins. They are very basic with one Queen bed, a small TV, a desk, and a chair. The cabins have both heat and A/C. These are camp cabins, so there is no restroom or kitchen within the cabin. The restrooms, hot showers, drinking water, and a dishwashing sink is close by. Please note - We do not provide cooking facilities with this rental. No Pets Allowed. Checkout is 10:00 AM local time. No check-ins before 3 PM.

The Old Bailey Place

Midway between Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef National Parks, and in the middle of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, The Old Bailey offers an historic connection to the region. You will be within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, outfitting guides and stores.

The Little House

The modern conveniences of The Little House sharply contrast the old-fashioned construction. Original rough sawn ceiling joist are exposed, with the builder's layout marks clearly visible on the ceiling highlight the main living area where you can relax on the sofa. Along with the flat-screen TV, scorching fast 1 gigabit per second fiber internet (1000 Mbps) is available for streaming.
