This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. A quiet stream filled with beaver, loons, and a duck family runs beside it, with a sweet swimming rock to slide into the warm soft water. This a very popular lake for fishing large and small mouth bass, walleye and lake trout. Watch the sunrise over the lake from the deck, bbq off the back of the cabin or take a break in the hammock. Enjoy an evening canoe or a paddle boat ride. Pet friendly.

My rustic and simple cabin is perfect to be one with nature. It is a 5 minute boat ride to access the cabin (the boat ride to and from is included in the nightly rate). You’ll love my place because of privacy, serenity, sunsets, and all of the trees. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. It s on the lakeshore private with sunset view and private dock . Small 14 x 14 cabin with a deck. Wifi available, heater, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, table, chairs and 2 bunkbeds. Outhouse nearby. Great place to sleep if you are going to be out all day hiking, geocaching, fishing, canoeing, atving, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. South Algonquin Trails is a working horse farm. If you enjoy great people and horses then this is the place for you. Horseback riding is available on site.
