These three acres of forested property allow you to enjoy the quiet seclusion of nature, but remain only a thirteen minute drive to Nelson, and eight minutes from the Whitewater turn off (closer than Nelson). Return from a long day of skiing to warm up in the wood fired cast iron tub by the river or enjoy the six person electric hot tub with lounger and watch the Salmo river flow by. Or dry off by the woodstove and watch a movie on the 4K 100” projector

Cozy Cosmic Dome

Escape to nature in our warm & cozy well heated geodesic dome, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Christmas Tree will be up Dec 10th! from the comfort of a King-sized bed, with large windows that keep you connected to the outdoors. Inside, you’ll find counter seating, kitchenette & bathroom. A short walk away is a fire table & private hot shower. Soak in your private hot tub or explore nearby hiking trails. Additionally the nearby creek offers the perfect white noise for an enjoyable night sleep!

Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Experience serenity in our woodland Oasis! Nestled by a tranquil horseshoe-shaped pond and a gentle river, our charming cabin offers ultimate privacy. Relax in the sauna, hot tub, or by the fire pit. Accommodating up to 6 guests, it has a private queen bedroom, a loft with a king bed, and a hide-a-bed. Enjoy home-cooked meals in the full kitchen or on the bbq. With laundry services, breathtaking views, and included firewood, your getaway promises a perfect blend of comfort and nature's beauty.

The area is well known for amazing hot springs, unspoiled landscapes, and a wild array of outdoor activities for all seasons. Enjoy the panoramic views and sunsets from the expansive deck in the private hot tub. Make memories (and s'mores) around the waterfront fire pit in the evening, while enjoying your private beach during the day. Perfect for romantic getaways or a fun family/friends retreat.

Located just off the Main street in Nakusp, near restaurants and stores, the lake and beautiful boardwalk. A small and cozy suite, this air conditioned unit has a kitchenette serviced with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and dishes . Washer/dryer in suite. Private bathroom. Queen sized bed. Plenty of parking. We have a no pets and no smoking policy. Hot springs, mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter, kayaking, boating and swimming in the summer.

Sun Beam Retreat

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

The sun-drenched deck looks out onto a stunning ponderosa pine and sits just steps from an active wildlife game trail. Set on seven peaceful acres, the property is shared with elk, deer, rabbits, two resident ravens, and the occasional wild turkey—offering a truly immersive mountain experience.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, book our sauna or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Nelson Lake Suite - Cozy Scenic Getaway

Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.
