Down on the Farm

Remote area that's about 15 min from Interstate 70. Quiet & peaceful w/minimal road traffic. Farming area. In warm weather, fish in our pond or visit/fish nearby Ramsey Lake State Park. Amish in the area & a local Amish market. Go for walks in our wooded area. Relax on a private deck in the evening. Queen bed, full bed, as well as a couch w/matching loveseat. NOTE on pets: 1 small pet under 25 lbs. allowed: PLEASE read our pet rules & agree to follow them before requesting a reservation.

Hunter's Heaven above private lake on 30 acres

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in south central IL. The cabin overlooks a 2 acre private lake that offers great views, kayak rides, feeding the fish, and swimming. The home sits on 70 acres and allows for great views of the wildlife. Use the nice covered deck for relaxing in the morning and BBQs in the evening. The spacious living room/kitchen allows for great entertaining with friends and curling up on the leather couch with family to watch a movie.

House By The Woods 2 bedroom/sleeps 7

We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in back yard & 4pm check in with 10am checkout.

Sonnemann Cabin

Rustic one room log cabin. Built in 1931. Bathroom is on the back porch with both hot and cold water. The cabin is equipped with an airconditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove, grill and a queen sized bed. Setting is rural and tranquil. Very quiet, beautiful place to relax and unplug. No TV or WIFI, but good cellular signal.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Starry skies and beautiful sunsets makes this place extra special. There is a huge yard to run around and play in or nice to sit by a fire and relax. Less than ten miles away is boat access to Illinois largest lake. A little farther than that you can have beach access to the same lake.
