Welcome to our new listing - it’s a beautiful new spot! Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. New rental on the lower level of our old family home. Cozy spot close to the airport. Convenient for travelers & exploring the area. We aim to make all of our homes comfortable for guests whether for a quick stopover or a longer vacation. We love to host folks & are eager to help you have a wonderful stay. Close to Big Picture High School in Burien for proximity.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

This private loft is designed to feel calm, easy, and thoughtfully prepared from the moment you arrive. Set at the top of a historic 1892 Victorian, it offers a quiet, light-filled space to unwind—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful place to land. Guests often tell me they love starting their mornings in the window sitting area with coffee, watching the light come in, or winding down at night in the cozy sleeping space under the vaulted ceilings.

Spectacular Beach & View: The Loft

Wake up to spectacular views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier from this 700 sf, 2-story, chic and comfortable cottage on a 40 acre waterfront estate property. The southern exposure beach ( 1000ft of private beach) is the ideal for strolling, beach combing, and relaxing. A fire pit, propane bbq, hammocks, and lounge chairs awaits for outdoor r & r. Trails through the forest for hiking. Mountain bike trails at Dockton Pk..Your pet is welcome, leashed, with an additional pet fee.

Africa in Auburn - Treehouse

Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 5 days.

Relaxing studio basement suite with private entrance. Queen pillow top bed & trundle couch that pulls out to queen. Private bath & laundry. Two Apple TVs for streaming.
