Beautiful barn in rural idyll with hot tub

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

Completed in April 2024, the Annexe is completely self contained and is located at the end of the patio at the rear of our home. Ideally located between Truro (4 miles) and Falmouth (9 miles) with both the north and south Cornish coasts in easy striking distance. Minutes away from Trelissick Gardens with their beautiful woodland walks. 1 mile down the road is the King Harry Ferry taking you across the Fal to access the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. The Punchbowl & Ladle is a 5 minute walk away.

Gylly beach is a 10 mins walk away and there are waterside cafes, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep ...or relax in your own private courtyard garden.

This unique cosy cabin is surrounded by the trees with its own entrance and self check-in. It is only a few minutes drive from the sea and the many beautiful beaches of Falmouth. There is good Wi-Fi and Netflix etc. Shower bathroom. Tea and coffee, kettle, toaster also a microwave and fridge, cutlery, glasses and plates. Linen and towels included There is a balcony for alfresco eating and evening drinks in the sunshine. The Cabin is super cosy and has everything you need for a country stay.

There's a fire pit terrace with guest kayaks on the beachside too if you fancy heading out to explore on the water

A modern, light, self-contained studio with open plan stairs to a small double low loft bed, in a mezzanine sleeping area, with sloping ceiling (partial height restriction). Only 5 mins walk to Falmouth town centre, cafes, bars and restaurants and to Gyllyngvase beach, Dell train station and Falmouth University. Off road parking on shared driveway.

The National Trust Trellisick House and gardens is around the corner giving access to many varied estuary and coastal walks. The King Harry ferry is just on the doorstep taking you across to St Mawes and the beautiful Roseland Peninsular.

There's a log burner for cosy nights in, and 2 sit-on-top kayaks and a paddleboard for adventures from Point Quay right on the doorstep. ★★★★★ Probably the most beautiful place we’ve stayed in the UK. 3 lovely pubs nearby, local shop 5 min drive, Truro & Falmouth 15 mins drive. Ideally located to explore beaches on north & south coasts.

Private Garden Studio in Carnon Downs

The Studio Flat is on three levels. A comfortable lounge with big TV, sofa, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave. Shower, sink, heated towel rail and toilet on level two, double bedroom with garden views on third level. I can pull out a single mattress for an extra third person. Private, separate entrance, off road car parking. Situated between Truro and Falmouth. An extremely handy location. Please note that it’s not suitable for babies or very young children.
