Riverfront Studio Cottage with Hot Tub & Kayaks

This is a small private waterfront cottage located in a park like setting with a wonderful view of the Maumee River. It is ideal for a couple's get-away. This is a one room 16'X20' studio apartment which includes a separate bathroom and two sleeper sofas that pull out into double sized beds with double mattresses for comfort. The entire cottage was remodeled in 2020 and has a new kitchen and a new bath. In addition to the free use of kayaks, there is a 10 mile walking trail withn 50 feet .

Waterfront Cabin with Hot Tub! Kayaks & Canoes!

"Hunter's Ridge" is one of 12 cabins my husband and I purchased in 1997. It is a small 3-room log cabin with a private, queen bedroom. The living area has a futon sofa bed and a small loft with a mattress. There are complimentary kayaks & canoes to navigate the islands and free bicycles for the wooded hiking trail. There is a kitchenette with the essentials. There is a brass hand-pump toilet and wooden tub with only a shower head to rinse off. There is a 2-person hot tub overlooking the river.

Ideal for families in need of ample space, a getaway with friends, or business travel, this residence boasts an open & warm layout. The house features three bedrooms, a den, & a bonus landing on the second floor. Additionally, there's a private hot tub that seats 3 to 4 guests. The kitchen is fully updated & well-equipped. Overlooking the scenic Maumee River, our modern suite is near many local favorites such as Side Cut Metropark, Fallen Timbers Mall, Fort Meigs, Levis Commons, and more! (see guestbook). The Suite features a private entrance, sleeps up to 6, full bath, full kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplaces, Wi-Fi, and more. A staircase leads down to a beautiful valley and river beach. A great spot for fishing, kayaking, swimming, etc. It's a Walleye fisherman's dream and great location for all the Birders!

The Granary

The Granary is a unique and spacious home. Set on a small farm, it was converted from barn to cottage in the late 1990's. Pets are allowed (for fee) and our dog and cats may stop by to visit. Great for families visiting home, or looking for a place to get away. Great for travelers visiting the Gilboa Quarry. No parties or events per AirBNB policy. **IMPORTANT: 1 queen size bed on the first floor The other beds are open lofts visible to each other and accessible by very STEEP stairs.

Room for plenty of guests with 3 bedrooms one king, two queens and a pull out couch.

Rusty's Loft

Rusty's Loft is a second story chalet style one room apartment. With 360 degree views of farm fields, woods and a pond. There is a large wrap around deck with comfortable furniture. The 900 sf space includes a full bath and full kitchen with all appliances and accessories. The full bath is fully furnished with lots of towels and bathroom necessities. There’s a campsite behind the loft with a double swing and rocking chairs as well as a fire pit and included firewood.

Be our guests! This historical staple is comfortable, roomy, & modernized, making it family-friendly & great for group stays! The home sits right downtown--centrally located in Defiance. The town's beloved cafes & restaurants are walkable. Just a couple of blocks away there is a library, tranquil bike & walking trail, & river. We provide two kayaks & paddles to add an adventure to your stay. There are also games & puzzles for your group to make memories together!
