We've recently renovated our basement to create a stylish, modern, cozy and quiet guest suite. There is a side entrance that opens directly onto stairs taking you down to the unit. It has a locking metal exterior door for sound-proofing and security. The unit is a bright studio apartment with three large windows, a full kitchen, sitting area with tv and fireplace, dining table, queen-sized bed, walk-in closet and your own private bathroom with a five-foot shower. Just another short walk over the lift bridge to the quaint little shops, theatre and restaurants. You can enjoy a fire in the beautiful treed side yard with other guests and residents or a morning coffee in the front Adirondack chairs watching all those heading to the beach for a day of sun and sand. “The beach walk” is just steps from great patios with live music and food.

My place is a modern fully equipped apartment in a standalone building. You will have your own concrete driveway and private entrance. The area is quiet but at the same time is less than 10 minutes drive from all the standard fast food restaurants, dine in road houses and shopping such as Walmart, Winners, Staples and Canadian Tire plus supermarkets. Enjoy the heritage sites in St Thomas and nearby country activities on the lake, in conservation areas and farm markets.
