Terfyn Annex

After years of renovation experience, we decided to transform our out house into a self contained annex which comfortably sleeps 2 guests in 1 double bed. We have designed this space using our interest in antique/bespoke furnishings. With each piece of furniture either loved back to life or handmade ourselves. The annex boasts a private En-suite bathroom with power shower, basin & toilet where in addition, basic toiletries are provided. Fresh bedding & towels will also be awaiting your arrival!

An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

Welcome to Pen Barras Retreat, a private and relaxing oasis set in the middle of the Clwydian Range, half way up Moel Famau. Unwind in the peaceful Welsh Hills and explore the many trails just outside your doorstep(URL HIDDEN) Coming from mold you take the A494 heading towards Ruthin and turn right for Tafarn y gelyn after the loggerheads pub on your left. And garage on the right .Come along forestry road for about a mile ana half and we are opposite parking area of the forestry .

Our Annexe includes continental breakfast. A private self contained unit with its own garden, arbour, patio, and water feature. The conservatory has a dining table and relaxing chairs. The lounge has a double sofa bed if required, tv, dvd, Alexa, stereo and electric fire. There is a microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The bedroom has views over the private courtyard. The en suite has a double shower unit. Tea and coffee making facilities include herbal teas and ground coffee.

The accommodation is conveniently located in Mold with easy access to pubs, restaurants and Theatre Clwyd (10/15 min walk). There are lots of beautiful nature walks in the surrounding area.
