Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Come stay at a hand built log cabin nestled right on Tims Ford Lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee and watch birds fly in a rocking chair on the front porch. This home is located in horse country with gorgeous views, hiking and fishing in the nearby stream. This area is a special place where members of the Hillsboro Hounds gather to ride their horses in the English tradition known as Fox Hunting. Take a ride through the neighborhood and view many of the beautiful homes and barns that host these events.
