The Ocean Room Ferndale, private, quiet, tax incl

This large 14X20 room plus bathroom is for non-smoking guests. Windows with wooded views and a private entrance. Also a queen size Tempur-pedic mattress, WiFi, microwave oven (behind a cabinet door), electric tea kettle, toaster oven, Keurig, refrigerator, hot plate, bar sink, large TV (with over 250 channels), DVD player, and off street parking. Nothing high-end here (except the mattress) but very comfy, clean, and private. Also the bathroom has it's own on-demand water heater (not shared).

Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

Ferndale Bungalow, Pasture views, walk to town

The Village Bungalow is a sweet cottage/bungalow located in a quaint neighborhood, off of Main Street in the Victorian Village of Ferndale. Spend your days hiking among the giants in the redwood forest. Take a 10 minute scenic drive through pasture land to the rugged pacific coastline. Or simply step out your door and take a short walk uptown to enjoy our small town: art gallery, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! We allow a maximum of 2 small to medium sizes dogs, upon approval.

Rio Vista Farmhouse

Relax after a day of exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in this peaceful, dog-friendly (for a fee), renovated barn. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

Redwood Coast Getaway Cottage

Enjoy a stay at this charming cottage located minutes from Old Town Eureka, Henderson center, and multiple beaches and forest trails. Use this space as a jumping off point to explore nearby Cal Poly Humboldt or the Redwood State and National Parks. Our local area is home to artisanal experiences of many varieties. Whether you enjoy food, wine, fine art, music, or eclectic expression of any kind, you're likely to find it here. And if you're an outdoor adventurer, bring your toys!

Head Water House Suite

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

Ocean View w/ HOT TUB, Organic Garden, Propane BBQ

Easy to find 1900 farm cottage on a private drive right off 101. Views of the bay & ocean, an antique barn & sheep pasture, & enchanting organic culinary garden. Relax in the hot tub in the "secret garden" after a day hiking through redwoods, then pick some fresh herbs & make yourself a memorable meal on the propane BBQ! Perfect for a romantic getaway, birdwatching, or family trip to "unplug." Not suitable for parties/uncleared guests. YES, we have high speed wifi. :)

Red Barn Cottage, Cozy and Charming

The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. We provide wonderful amenities including coffee, teas, continental breakfast items and snacks for our guests. A small to medium size dog is allowed but with our approval and an additional nonrefundable pet fee.
