Kick back and relax in this ideally located modern cottage. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub or the peace of the covered porch. Situated in the heart of midcoast Maine, this cottage has it all. An elegant kitchen that awaits your culinary delights, a spacious living area, a primary bedroom with a TV, a kingsize bed and a luxurious bath with a soaking tub and a walk-in rainfall shower, plus twin bunk beds for the kiddos. A small store and a farm to table restaurant are conveniently across the street.

The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Cozy 1st Floor Studio - 1812 Pierce House

1812 Pierce House is a unique home on the National Register of Historic Places. Full of antiques & modern touches. If you like interesting places to stay, this is for you! If you like straight lines & central air, we recommend a hotel. A private entrance with your own entry hall bedroom w/ table, closet, & small hall leading to the bathroom w/ shower. Small fridge with freezer, hot water kettle, coffee/tea, 2 electric burners, toaster & microwave. Firepit in large yard. Close walk to river.

Relaxing lodge in the woods

Rustic lodge nestled in the woods, on 60+ acres. Close to Bangor, coastline, and 50 miles to Bar Harbor. Large eat in dining area with plenty of room for family and friends. Outdoor fields for games, grilling, access to Maine wildlife, with plenty of parking. Private master bedroom w/bath. Large community areas to enjoy time with friends and family. At night spend time by the campfire and take in the stunning night sky. Party and events are not allowed at this time due to COVID-19 policies.

Hike up the mountain to see beautiful vistas and a granite quarry. Put in a canoe or kayak at the public boat launch right down the road! Centrally located for travel to many coastal towns and beaches. Right off from scenic Route 1A. One hour away from Acadia National Park.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
