No detail has been left undone when it comes to cleanliness, decor, or amenities. Tims Ford Boat Launch <1/4 mile, walk to Twin Creeks, Walk to historic Winchester square (< 1mile) where you can enjoy several dining/shopping options. Hike the mountains, tour Sewanee, Jack Daniels or Dickel, boat at Tims Ford, float the Elk, or just relax at this oh so quaint home. The location is also convenient for concerting at The Caverns. Enjoy the two fireplaces in a “rustic” meets “modern” log cabin on 10 acres of privacy that is adjoined to over 2000 acres of park land. There is 450 ft of lake front & private dock to store your boat/toys, but the dock is not usable Nov 1 to April 1. This modern, Scandinavian style cabin, sits on 20 private acres at a 1360 ft. elevation. The style sets it apart from other cabins. It is 13 miles from The Caverns concert venue (about a 20 minute drive). The cabin is close to Sewanee, which has many hiking trails and is home to The University of the South (about 7 miles from our cabin/ a 16 minute drive.) Other local hiking and recreation options include the South Cumberland State Park and Tims Ford State Park.
