Welcome to The Got-Away, a place where you can relax & renew. The Got-Away is a play on the phrase "the fish that Got Away". Since Tims Ford offers wonderful fishing opportunities, we thought the name would be perfect. We want our home to be a place where you can escape life's hassles with family & friends. Our Dad loved to fish, and many of the items in The Got-Away were his. As an Army/Coast Guard Veteran, the water was a second home to him. We hope it will be for you and your guests as well.

The main floor has one bedroom and bathroom, a full eat -in kitchen with new dishwasher, a cozy den with fireplace, a dining room, two porches, and a garage. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms and two full baths. Enjoy hiking, cooking, Sewanee events, or just gazing out the windows over the pond. We hope you enjoy our family home as much as we do.
