We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails. Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. Stunning Bankers Loft with King Size Bed

This 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment once housed the President of the Farmers Bank of Floyd, which was the building's first floor (the vault and safe are still intact). It has been painstakingly restored to its former glory in 2023. The original 120-year-old timber frames and wood floors have been preserved, while the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and drywall have all been replaced. The result is a stunning apartment that retains its 18th-century charm while also offering all the modern conveniences.

The cottage is about a mile to Philpott Lake, the perfect place to fish , go out on a boat, or kayak. there are hiking trails near by.
