Our log cottage on beautiful Blue Lake in Kalkaska County Mi is a wonderful place to stay. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. You will hear the loons calling through out the day. The cottage sits on 100' of lake frontage. Blue Lake is an all sports lake that also connects to two other lakes-North Blue to the North and Little Blue to the South. ATV trails and snowmobile trails are just down the road from the cottage. The area also has many golf courses, wineries, and casinos.

Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for everyone.

Welcome! Our place is set up for family/friends relaxation time. Our 2 story log home is located in a rural neighborhood on a shallow stretch of the of the AuSable River just south of Frederic. Minutes from I-75 with park and ride access to snowmobile/ORV trails. Biking, kayaking, skiing, golfing, fishing or trail riding opportunities nearby. A 20 min drive to Gaylord and a 13 min drive to Grayling. The small scenic backyard has direct river access. Deck large enough to accommodate all guests.

Bonfire Holler (between Grayling and Gaylord)

Live your life by a compass not a clock. Find your way to Bonfire Holler where you can unplug and relax. Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord.
