Set back on 10 wooded acres and right on Shetland Creek, this location is perfect for an up north getaway! Close to wineries, golf courses with Lake Michigan, Lime Lake and Little Traverse Lake all right nearby. Just a short drive to Glen Arbor and Leland. The Heritage Trail is also down the road. Spend the day exploring then relax by the creek in the evening with a glass of wine!

Peaceful private getaway on Lake Michigan

Relax and enjoy this fully renovated, unique and tranquil getaway. The updated 2nd floor lakefront retreat is cozy and functional. The space features an open layout that seamlessly combines the living area, kitchen, dining and bath. You will have full use of the suite which is closed off from the main house making it truly private. Reservations for 2026 can be booked starting in 2026 when all dates will be open for booking. North of Ordinary

North of Ordinary is a private guest suite situated along the Old Mission Peninsula wine trail, only 2 miles from downtown Traverse City. The space has a separate entrance with locks, a private bathroom and outdoor patio space. The suite also has a miniature refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker with complementary tea and coffee. As your host, I am happy to provide recommendations regarding local attractions, but will otherwise offer complete privacy.

The Gristmill Apartment

My house is the first house north of Cherrybend on the bay side. My place is close to the beach, restaurants and dining, parks, art and culture, and great views. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the neighborhood, the outdoors space, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I am on premise and available to answer any questions. I live in the main house.

Situated on a quiet wooded 4 acres, Maplewood of Interlochen is a great place to stay while you enjoy a concert at Interlochen, visit family and friends, fish on the Platte River, golf or ski at Crystal Mountain, etc.
