A bright, neoclassical and luxurious 55m2 house new construction and short walks away from the heart of Athens historic and business centre, suitable both for unforgettable vacations and professional travels! The cosy living room is separated from the bedroom by a handmade wooden stair that assures a romantic stay in the attic of the house! There is also a small patio where you can have your breakfast, enjoy your coffee, a glass of wine and for smoking fans, your cigarette! The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with mini markets, grocery stores and beautiful cafes only 10 minutes on foot from Acropolis temple, museum and Plaka. Kerameikos and Monastiraki tube station, as well as Thiseio and Petralona train station are all within walking distance. You can also walk to Psirri, Petralona and Gazi where you can enjoy a variety of cafes and restaurants. Many art studios and galleries within easy walk as well as Ermou, the most popular shopping street. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, free wi-fi access, floor heating, individual air conditioning system, flat screen TV with many satellite channels, 24h hot water. It has one bedroom and a bright new sofa (expandable to a comfortable double bed). It is ideal for couples, friends as well as families with children. Don't hesitate for a late or a very late check-in! If desired I can arrange a comfortable transportation from and to the airport 24h / 7days a week at a very low cost. The direct metro blue line from Athens International Airport (Kerameikos stop), as well as the green metro line (Thiseio stop) are within walking distance. Don't hesitate for a late or a very late check-in! If desired a comfortable transportation from and to the airport/port at a low cost can be arranged 24/7! Kerameikos and Monastiraki tube station, as well as Thiseio and Petralona train station are all within walking distance. Easy to park your car exactly outside the house. House at the Foothills of Acropolis

On a regular summer day I used to sleep on the rooftop in a hammock, surrounded by the bougainvillea and lemon trees under the imposing rock of the Acropolis. In the winter, I played board games with my classmates by the fireplace. No doubt, I consider myself spoiled growing up a stone’s throw away from the Parthenon and the newly established Acropolis Museum. The cradle of democracy, the birth of theater and philosophy, temples and Byzantine churches, an Ottoman era mosque, bars, restaurants, cafes, monuments, ancient arches are all a few minutes stroll from my maternal house. History is everywhere and it is inescapable. Yet, modern Athens has more to offer. The local flea market at Monastiraki, the meat, fish, and vegetable markets of Athinas Street, and lastly Ermou, the city’s main shopping street are all a mere 10 minutes walk away from the apartment. Situated in Parthenon’s shadow, 5 minutes by foot from the Acropolis metro station, the apartment extends over two hundred square meters (2,156 square feet). Two bedrooms, a large kitchen, two bathrooms and a WC, a spacious living room encompassing a study, a balcony, a roof garden with a permanent dinner table, and an indoor patio which doubles as breakfast area are all placed right in the hustle and bustle of Plaka; the center of classical, medieval and early modern Greece. The house is located in the top floor of a two level late 19th century period building. It has been recently renovated and offers all 21st century amenities in a space overflowing with Mediterranean light. It can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for families and small groups traveling through Greece. Yet, the starting price level does not exclude couples or a pair of friends. After all, luxury and exclusivity were not in the vocabulary of democratic Athens. I would be more than eager to host you through airbnb and give you a tone of tips on your stay in Europe’s oldest city. Specialized tour guides can be arranged at an extra cost.

Our fully equipped home offers hospitality to max 5 guests, who will be accommodated in a two-level apartment of totally 140 sqm, in 2 master bedrooms, each with private bathroom and in a convertible single sofa - bed. The cozy interior of our home, with its sofa and the dining area will make you feel like home. Prepare your breakfast/meal at the kitchen by making use of all the facilities. Enjoy your morning coffee in the yard and your meal in the terrace, so that you feel the vibes of the Greek ancient spirit. Our home offers privacy with the two separate level master bedrooms. Apart from the main entrance, a second one is leading directly to the second bedroom. The living room sofa can accommodate an extra guest. For families travelling with baby, facilities for our little guests are available. Work space to place your laptop and keep your notes is at your disposal. The entire House, including living room area, kitchen, bedrooms, the yard and of course the terrace, is available to our guests. Driven by Greek hospitality we pay attention to personal check in and check out of our guests. Upon arrival a welcome basket will surprise you! The neighborhood of Plaka is a great place for sightseeing, home to the city's most famed historical monuments. Flea markets, the shopping street of Ermou, restaurants, Greek tavernas, bars, and coffee shops are all nearby. Metro: Nearest station is “Monastiraki” (line 3), in a 5’ walking distance from the house. Access from/to the Airport: Approx. 70’ by Metro line 3 / 35klm by car Access from/to Piraeus Port: Approx. 25’ by Metro line 1 / 11klm by car Our property has staircase both indoors and outdoors. Nevertheless, downstairs bedroom is also accessible directly from street level as well.
