Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.

The cabin is in downtown Maud which has all the necessities (shopping, food, restaurants, gas etc.)

Nannie’s place

This luxury tiny home sits on land that has been in our family for over 140 years. My great grandmother (Nannie) lived on this land for many years. Her home is now gone, but it was always welcoming and many have precious memories of their time spent here. We hope our guests feel the same love and peace that we feel when we spend time at Nannie’s Place!

Newly renovated 1800’s Farmhouse. Nestled in the middle of 30 acres in the country. If you want a peaceful getaway this is the place for you. The pool is open seasonally and usually isn’t available for use till sometime in late April and stays open through October if the weather permits.
